The Simplest Dollar Store Gift

I can do damage at the Dollar Store! There’s so much stuff you can buy for CHEAP!! At times I do overlook certain items but thankfully with being an avid INSTAGRAM user I always come across things people buy that makes me wanna try it too.  On INSTAGRAM I came across a post from a girl I follow for THE SIMPLEST DOLLAR STORE GIFT.

Monica has the cutest INSTAGRAM page and I just love all the cute stuff she posts, from super cute photos to quotes you can live by.  She recently posted a photo click here, of some dollar tree goodies and I was just like “OH MY GOD WHY DIDN’T I THINK OF THAT?” So the photo was of a box of Pirouline’s from Dollar Tree.  If you don’t know what those are then seriously where have you been?  They are cream filled wafers in the form of straws (I’d say straws haha) & they are DELICIOUS!  She went on to post that she stacks up on those from Dollar Tree around the Holidays and she gives them out to people whom she thinks need a little more appreciation, like Crossing Guards and Car Loop Helpers.  And it seriously hit me! WHAT AN AWESOME INEXPENSIVE IDEA!!

After commenting that I loved her idea I ran to my Dollar Tree and got a few, I also got mini bows to attach to them so they could look like an actual gift.  But I didn’t stop there!  I also came across a mini box of Danish Style Butter Cookies which I thought I’d top with a bow as well to make another small gift.  I thought to myself that Monica was totally right!  We see people all day that can use a little extra treat during the holidays.  Like, the Mail Man, or The Cashier at the Supermarket thats all smile when she rings you up, or The Crossing Guard, or The moms that volunteer at your kids school, or even just a neighbor or a coworker you might have never spoken to.

I mean yes there are people that we actually can gift gift cards to or give a little more expensive gift but for $1 for these you can’t go wrong.  Its seriously the thought that counts.  So if you’re at your local Dollar Tree and you come across any of these I suggest you grab a few too and hand them out to those whom you think could use an extra little treat this holiday!
