I wish those words were as easy to accomplish as it is to write them. LOL!! Guys It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here and if you wanna know, having a toddler and a newborn is seriously kicking my butt! I have my eyes taped open as I write this. JK The baby is really a breeze at times, I mean she just eats, sleeps and poops, It’s MILA-JADE that is the handful, scratch that – she’s TWO hands full possibly THREE!!

I’d love to sit here and tell you that I get to cuddle with the baby while MJ is quietly coloring in her room, or reading a book or even just watching a movie….BUT HECK NO! This girl is bouncing off walls from the minute she wakes up to the last second before she finally knocks out. LITERALLY! I think about putting her to bed the minute she wakes up in the morning. She exhausts me! I have no actual BEDTIME ROUTINE for her. What mom really does? Even her naps are random, I’ve caught her asleep while standing or laying down, iPad slapped right in her face! This basic mom right here just let’s her tire herself out to the point where she’s super cranky. That’s all there is to it! Everything else (her falling asleep, falls right into place!)

The other day I was totally NOT having it! I was so tired from the night before and MJ was being such a brat! The minute my husband came home, I handed him the baby, told him to follow MJ’s screams in order to find her, I ran to my car and pulled off as fast as I could! (sometimes I need a quick escape) I ended up at the only place that I knew would be open late : MY LOCAL WALGREENS. I can always count on them being open since most of them are open 24/7. Whether I need to make a pain reliever run or in this case MY ESCAPE, I know they are always open.

I often just roam the aisles, sometimes I don’t just go to get anything in particular, just a “let’s see what I can find” type of trip! I knew I couldn’t stay long since I know my husband always comes home tired. I secretly prayed that I’d go home and MJ would be sleeping but then I got the famous text I always tend to get : “WHERE ARE YOU MJ IS ACTING CRAZY?!”

I did one quick fast paced roam around the store and I came across the newly reformulated JOHNSON’S products. Guys, seriously they are super cute! The shape of the bottles are different now and they’ve added a pump to the top of the bottles to make it easier for moms when they have their hands full! I got home and I immediately saw MJ and I said “WANNA TAKE A BATH?” Her eyes lit up and she started to take off her clothes. I filled up our tub, added some bubbles and let her play a bit so that she could tire herself out some more. Of course I used the BEDTIME BATH and once she was done I smothered her in the BEDTIME LOTION. I put some cute pj’s on her, gave her a warm bottle of strawberry milk and she was out in minutes!!!!! SCOREEEEEEEE! Now all I need is someone to take me a bath, make me some milk and put me to bed! HAHA!
