3 Mess Free Meal Time Must Haves

I’d love to tell all you moms that there is a way for Meal Time to be 100% Mess Free….BUT I hate to break it to you….there isn’t! Unless you plan on not feeding your child! LOL.  I CAN honestly tell you that I have come across 3 products that’ll actually lessen a way bigger mess!  And they are all by NUBY.

MJ is the messiest eater in the whole wide world!  But let’s be honest what child isn’t?  She’s at a stage where she is just learning so much and she’s exploring her independence.  Although it’s wonderful to watch it’s also an anxiety attack for me watching her fling her food across the room just trying to get it in her mouth.  She’s in her “I’m A Big Girl” stage and she does NOT want to sit in her high chair anymore…So I let her stand at the table while she eats (and yes I’m always at her side making sure she doesn’t fall).  As long as she eats I honestly don’t even care if she’s eating upside down!

In our house it’s all about compromise…so since she wants to stand while she eats then I want to NOT see a plate full of food being flung in the air or casually dropped on the floor.  In comes the NUBY products to make things a little easier for me.  Here are MY 3 Mess Free Meal Time Must Haves :

1. Sure Grip Miracle Mat section plate – This super cute bear suction plate has 2 sections to keep foods separate, a built-in suction grip to keep plate from sliding or tipping and is super easy to clean.  Not only is it a plate and placemat as well but it is also Microwave and Dishwasher safe. I love it because she doesn’t get to pick it up and spill it all over and she loves the bear design and the bright color.
2. Sure Grip Suction Bowl – This suction bowl is by far MY absolute favorite!  The suction keeps the bowl from sliding and tipping, it’s easy to clean and durable, also Microwave and Dishwasher safe.  It is my favorite because of its size… on days when MJ wants to run around and I have to run after her to feed her the bowl is small enough to fit my hand and deep enough to still fit a decent amount of food.  I use it for soup, rice, eggs, fruits, yogurt….everything!
3. 360 Wonder Cup  – This cup allows MJ to drink from any angle,  it comes in a pack of 2 with fun bright prints and it is SPILL PROOF!!! I feel like MJ is too big to drink just from a regular sippy cup but too small to drink from a regular cup with no lid.  So this one basically meets us right in between!  She likes it because its her “Big Girl” cup and I love it because I no longer have mini heart attacks when she slams it on the floor!

I will still have a little mess to clean up here & there because duh kids are kids.  And well the tableware has the suction not the actual food HAHA!  But it gives me a peace of mind knowing I’ll have LESS of a MESS to clean up!  I hope you guys enjoyed this post.  Let me know in the comments below what you moms do to make meal time LESS MESSY.
